27/01/12 Over the past few weeks the EPFC has been taking delivery of the various components of our new Self Contained Breathing Apparatus. On Thursday Jan 19th members attended an SCBA class taught by Instructor Jason Greer to help familiarize ourselves with our new SCBA. The members were presented with some excellent information and great drills to familiarize ourselves with our new equipment. Then on Monday Jan 23 for weekly training the company drilled with the new packs and after training was completed several members stuck around to have pack-up races, a friendly competition to see who can don their SCBA the fastest.

2012-01-25 Tonight around 21:30 hours the engine was dispatched to assist station 207 on a dwelling assignment, the engine went enroute with 4 personnel and stood by on the scene before being released.

Mark your calendar for Saturday Feb 18th - East Petersburg Fire Company is hosting it's annual Pot Pie Dinner and Take Out Fundraiser. It's an all-you-can eat dinner which includes beef pot pie, chicken pot pie, green beans, applesauce, pepper cabbage, rolls, drinks and dessert. Dinner service will be held from 11am until 6pm. The dinner for adult is $9.50, ticket can be purchased at the door. Take out is along available by the quart at $6.00 each from 9am until sold out.
